"A few years back I found myself jumping up and down with joy, I was pregnant for the third time and life was great! But not for long. One week later, I was nauseous, weak and dehydrated. Hello morning sickness. My taste buds went haywire and I completely lost my appetite. I didn`t know what I wanted...sweet, savoury, hot, cold? My first pregnancy had been a complete nightmare. I didn`t listen to the doctors when they said to keep hydrated as I couldn`t face drinking anything and ended up in hospital with dehydration.
It took me until half way through my second pregnancy to realise that ice was a wonderful substitute to food and liquid, I was keeping it down and wasn`t getting dehydrated. But I was still craving flavour. That`s when I decided to make my own ice pops with a secret blend of delicious ingredients like tangy lemon, fresh ginger and refreshing mint. This time round once the morning sickness kicked in, I started straight on the ice pops that I had made and for once I actually enjoyed being pregnant. They eased my nausea, rehydrated my body and settled my tummy. My daughter LILLY was born at the end of 2006 and I could have carried her for ever!"
